Historical Background: Benghasi had fallen in German hands, British troops were withdrawing across Djebel Akhdar, followed by Axis motorized units under the command of general Rommel. 20th Australian Brigade received the order to hold the pass to cover the withdrawing of the main force. 2/13 Australian Battalion was in place at Er Regima to close the gate of the mountain. In the evening of 4th of April 1941 a powerful motorized column of the Aufsklärungs Abteilung (mot.)3, the armored recce unit of Deutsche Afrika Korps, was approaching the pass. the German unit was under the fire of 51st Field Artillery Regiment which supported the Australian infantry. From the evening to the night, the Germans assaulted Australian positions and the battle continued by close combat with bayonets and trench tools. Before the morning, Australians were withdrawing in order in spite of heavy casualties. German troops occupied the pass but had lost several armored vehicles and soldiers in the battle. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Special Rules: - Use "North African Desert" rules (Action 9). - Use "Night Attacks" rules inverted, from daylight to night (Action 19). - Use "BCF Command" rules (Nation 5). - For every card that cannot be used because of the night (Air Power, Bombard or Firefight), activate a unit of your choice. - Use "Engineer" rules for the 2 German units with badge (Troop 4).
