Historical Background:
To stop definitively the hegemony of communist partisans lead by Josip Broz "Tito" in Yugoslavia, the German command decided to make an airborne raid on the Tito's HQ in Drvar. Operation "Rösselsprung" was made by SS-Fallschirmjäger Bataillon.500, a SS paratroop unit. On the 25th of May 1944, Tito celebrated his 52nd birthday but as a bad birthday gift, he saw German paratroopers falling from the sky and engaging the combat once landed.Tito escaped barely from the SS attack by withdrawing in a tunnel behind his HQ. After that escape, the SS paratroopers were themselves surrounded in the city of Drvar by thousands of Yugoslav partisans. They resisted until 27th of May when they were delivered by German armored columns coming from Bihac and Banja Luka. Operation "Rösselsprung" was a setback, the bird has flown !
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Axis player [Germany] : 6 command cards, you play first.
Allied player [Yugoslav Resistance] : 5 command cards.

Conditions of Victory:
6 medals.
If Tito, the Allied unit with a badge, is destroyed, the Axis player wins immediately.

Special Rules:
- Use "Resistance" rules for all Allied infantry units (Nations 1).
- Use "Specialized Units" rules for all Axis units (Troop 2).
- Use "Fordable Streams" rules for the Uvac river (Terrain 61) and "Steep Hills" rules for every hills hex (Terrain 13).
- Tito is in a cave. Use "Caves on Hills" rules (Terrain 42).
- Use "Special Weapon Asset" and "Mortar late war" rules (SWAs 1& 6) to the unit with mortar badge.
- Remove the card "Barrage" before beginning the game and the card "Air Strike" is used only by the Axis player.
- Parachute drop rules : Take 9 Axis infantry units. The air drop is made on the first turn with one unit per hexagon with battle star - 1 unit per battle star. Drop one figure at a 10 cm height then complete the unit in the hex of arrival. If the figure fall out of the board, the unit is definitively removed of the game but doesn't count as an Allied medal. If the figure fall near an enemy occupied hex, the enemy unit can fire immediately as "Ambush" rules.
