Historical Background: 22 may 1940 - The German tanks have reached the Channel near Abbeville. Now, they have to go to the north in order to destroy the Allied armies surrounded in the Dunkirk's pocket. Before that, the Germans have to take Boulogne sur mer. The attack last three days and after the evacuation of some British troops, the lonely french garrison can't fight more longer. On the 25th may, after a fierce combat on the walls of the old city, the remaining French troops ceased fire and received the honour of the war by the Germans for their heroic resistance. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player [Germany] : 6 command cards, you play first. Allied player [France, BEF] : 4 command cards.
Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. Exit marker is in effect in the hex "Port" for the British units only.
Special Rules: - Use "BCF command" rules for the two units with British badge. These units are not engineers. - Use "Blitz" rules (Actions 15). - Sand bags represent the walls of the old city, they can't be removed. Apply the sand bags ' protection bonus (Terrain 10). - Evacuation of British troops : Each British unit can exit the game by the hex "Port". Once in this hex, the unit must be activated, the Allied player launch four dice and one star result allowed the evacuation of the unit. All other result is not applied.
